Refurbishment and fit out of science laboratory at Brune Park School, Gosport.

Noadswood School

Phase 1: Construction of a new link block between existing classroom blocks incorperating a lift for disabled access to first floor, new classroom facilities and provision of facilities for disabled use.

Noadswood School

Phase 2: Construction of new ICT & drama room extention infill recess left following the construction of phase 1. The works necessitated reconstruction of existing roofs over first floor corridors and ceilings. The programme determined these works had to be undertaken in term time, which involved very carefull health and safety management by all parties to the contract especially the school whose excellent cooperation and understanding was gratefully received. Phase 2 works also included the construction of a new student toilet block, refurbishment of an existing classroom to create a science laboratory and hard/soft landscaping works.

R. V. Dart & Son (Builders) Ltd. is a privately owned limited company established in 1973. The company undertakes a broad range of building work including New Build & Extentions, Alterations & Refurbishments & Building Maintanance.

Following a very successful management buy out, the company is now solely owned and managed by Colin Andrews and Adrian Stringfellow, both of whom are profesionally qualified members of The Chartered Institute Of Building. It is our aim to build our client base with a view to carefully growing the business whilst maintaining direct control.

Our workload is sourced through various clients including Local Authorities, Healthcare Trusts, Commerce, Industry, Leisure Sectors and selected Architect managed work in the domestic sector. We work throughout Hampshire and neighbouring counties, generally within 50 miles of our new offices based in Romsey, Hampshire.

Our workforce consists of directly employed CSCS certified tradesmen and working foremen supplemented with sub-contratctors to undertake specialist trades. We endeavour to use a select group of sub-contrators to deliver a partnering approach to our business, which helps to secure the quality and performance required to take our business forward.

We operate an apprenticeship scheme linked to the CITB training carpenters and bricklayers to qualified craftsman status.

All works are directly controlled by our directors to ensure quality, performance and cost effectiveness for our clients. The company has ISO 9001:2000 accreditiation approved by ISOQAR certificate number 3243/02.

The company is a member of Constructionline, a UK register of qualified construction services (reference number 1166) and also maintains membership of the National House Building Council.
