Cheyney Court Winchester
We have recently completed the full refurbishment of Cheyney Court for Winchester Cathedral. This included roofing work, sash and crital window repairs, completely new M&E systems, full redecoration, bathroom and kitchen replacements. We worked alongside the HB Archaeology & Conservation and the BAT Ecologist. The Architects were Purcell Architects. PQS were NT Surveying. Contract Value – £670,000 – Completed in 32 weeks.

Holy Cross Church, Colden Common
A project from the RV Dart archive.
This project entailed the provision of new toilets and kitchen in high quality oak joinery. The relocation of the font, refurbishment of stone and timber floors and a considerable external drainage scheme through the church grounds and cemetery.

‘We are part way through works at St Bartholomew’s Church, King Alfred Place, Winchester forming a new accessibility lobby & toilet facilities for The PCC of St Bartholomew working with Lopp Architects & NT Sutrveying. The works include forming a new doorway, entrance paving, new drainage & extensive services alterations together with detailed on site joinery works.

The works included new joinery manufactured & finished to match the existing together with the provision of a new incoming water supply, foul drainage & highway connection works. We are very proud to share this professionally captured drone footage of the ongoing works to Netley Chapel, Royal Victoria Country Park, Southampton which are being undertaken for Hampshire County Council. The scaffolding works by Skill Scaffolding have required early engagement, detailed co-ordination, sensitive planning & a technically robust access solution around this iconic waterfront landmark. We are also pleased to work with Southern Hoist (Claude Fenton Hire Ltd) who supplied their specialist breast cancer awareness hoist, ‘’Poppy the Pink’’. 20% of the hire revenue from this hoist is donated to supporting breast cancer charities

A very satisfying job completed by RV Dart.
The full internal and external refurbishment of this Grade 1 listed and Scheduled Ancient Monument Completed for Winchester Cathedral included roof and masonry repairs together with structural alterations.
Specialist works included historic metal window repairs, stained glass restoration and Oak joinery throughout.

Winton Chapel, Winchester
The internal refurbishment and extension to a Victorian Chapel for The University of Winchester. The works consisted of highly detailed Oak joinery and wall panelling, the installation of a new font and Purbeck stone dais. New entrance doors and flooring.

As part of the ongoing work at Netley Chapel RV Dart are also installing a hoist to aid the raising and lowering of materials and occasional personnel. Skill Scaffolding & Southern Hoists who are the subcontractor suggested the attached hoist given the prominent location of the job and the exposure/publicity for the charity it supports. Southern Hoists make a donation to The Breast Cancer Charity every time this is hired out so it is nice to be a part of this. RV Dart will also make a donation to the Breast Cancer Charity directly.
