St Micheals and All Angels Church  Weyhill

This project was the repair and enabling works following a fire to the incoming electrical supplies.  This was adapting the scaffolding to provide safe access to HL repairs works.  Works included some structural repairs, replacement lath and plaster ceiling panels, plaster repairs, Electrical lighting works, new stud walls ready for the refitting of the church organ and complete internal redecoration of the church.

Cheyney Court, Winchester

Cheyney Court Winchester

We have recently completed the full refurbishment of Cheyney Court for Winchester Cathedral. This included roofing work, sash and crital window repairs, completely new M&E systems, full redecoration, bathroom and kitchen replacements.  We worked alongside the HB Archaeology & Conservation and the BAT Ecologist.  The Architects were Purcell Architects. PQS were NT Surveying.   Contract Value – £670,000  –   Completed in 32 weeks.

St Bartholomew’s church, Winchester

‘We are part way through works at St Bartholomew’s Church, King Alfred Place, Winchester forming a new accessibility lobby & toilet facilities for The PCC of St Bartholomew working with Lopp Architects & NT Sutrveying.   The works include forming a new doorway, entrance paving, new drainage & extensive services alterations together with detailed on site joinery works.

Ongoing work at Netley Chapel

We are very proud to share this professionally captured drone footage of the ongoing works to Netley Chapel, Royal Victoria Country Park, Southampton which are being undertaken for Hampshire County Council. The scaffolding works by Skill Scaffolding have required early engagement, detailed co-ordination, sensitive planning & a technically robust access solution around this iconic waterfront landmark. We are also pleased to work with Southern Hoist (Claude Fenton Hire Ltd) who supplied their specialist breast cancer awareness hoist, ‘’Poppy the Pink’’. 20% of the hire revenue from this hoist is donated to supporting breast cancer charities

A very satisfying job completed by RV Dart.
The full internal and external refurbishment of this Grade 1 listed and Scheduled Ancient Monument Completed for Winchester Cathedral included roof and masonry repairs together with structural alterations.

Specialist works included historic metal window repairs, stained glass restoration and Oak joinery throughout.

Winton Chapel, Winchester
The internal refurbishment and extension to a Victorian Chapel for The University of Winchester.   The works consisted of highly detailed Oak joinery and wall panelling, the installation of a new font and Purbeck stone dais. New entrance doors and flooring.

AN UPDATE ON RV DART

We operate throughout Hampshire and neighbouring counties, generally within an hour or 50mile radius of our offices based in Romsey, Hampshire.  We have operated from a permanent office and commercial unit for the last 15+years.    We also have a general builder’s yard locally to our office.  We have a good stock of general building materials, including general plant and equipment.

We are also proud members of The Chartered Institute of Building. This qualification allows the company to have Chartered Building Company status.We are members of the NHBC. We hold Silver membership for Construction Line, CHAS accredited, and Quality Assured to ISO 9001. We are Fully Insured with Public and Employers’ liability cover at £10milion. We also hold Professional indemnity Insurance up to £2million,We are Members with HCS Safety in Southampton.  They are on call for all our projects.  We use them for our H&S advice and inspections.   They are also local and know the area well.

We carry out a broad range of building work including New Build & Extensions, Alterations & Refurbishments, Building Maintenance, and Historic Buildings work.
