Councillor Roy Perry, leader of Hampshire County Council visited the Nightingale Lodge site in Romsey on Monday, which is currently undergoing demolition to make way for 54 new Extra Care flats. The press release he requested was issued yesterday: “Good progress being made towards new, state of the art accommodation for older people in Romsey.” RV Dart was awarded the demolition contract.

Planning permission for the transformation was granted by Southampton City Council in October and the charity has launched a fundraising appeal to cover the £1.6million cost for buying and fully adapting the building.

RV Dart recently sponsored and attended a Valentine’s Dinner and Dance in Winchester. The event was in aid of the charity, Cancer Research UK. We regard this organisation highly and will continue to support their aim ‘to beat cancer sooner!’
RV Dart is currently working on a new home facility in Southampton for CLIC Sargent. As a sign of our support all of our site staff wore the World Cancer Day wristband on 4th February specially produced by the client to mark the occasion.
